Tenuta Isola verde is a wonderful farmhouse in the hearth of Tuscany, surrounded by 20 hectares of vineyards and 3 hectares of olive groves, nested in the rolling hills of Cerreto Guidi, land of ancient renaissance traditions: a truly idyllic escape from the real world, while still being relatively closed to the main cities, such as Florence, Pisa, Siena and Lucca. The structure, dates back to 1574: at that time it belonged to the famous Medici Family, who influenced Tuscany's political and cultural life for over three centuries. The Villa Medicea is the main tourist attraction of Cerreto Guidi. Declared UNESCO World Heritage Site in June 2013, the grand-ducal residence rises on a hill in the center of the Renaissance village. The farmhouse was purchased in 1960 by Pietro Tamburini, who was able to continue the centuries-old tradition of farmers. From 2017 the daughter of Riccardo, Cristina Tamburini has taken over the property. Wine and olive oil of excellent quality are still produced, thanks to the experience gained over the years and a true passion, which like the grapes used for their wines is nurtured and enriched by the fertile surrounding soil. Just a few minutes from here you can discover Vinci, a charming medieval village, bithplace of the famous genius Leonardo Da Vinci. All the rooms have TV, free WI-FI, air conditioning system, heating and fridge. Apartments also come with fully-equipped kitchenette, towels and bedlines. There's plenty to do here for young and old, from a leisurely swim to a game of tennis table, a walk or a ride on the surrounding countryside. Cristina la proprietaria è una persona molto cordiale e disponibile.La location è immersa in 45 ettari di vigneti ed è davvero molto incantevole.Ci ritorneremo.Cerreto Guidi é un bel paese come pure Vinci e la città di Empoli.Davvero Toscana pura!
