"Poggio alla Cavalla" Tourist Farm, which is an integral part of the farm that goes by the same name, lies in the municipality of Lamporecchio in the heart of Tuscany, near Florence, on the slopes of Montalbano, between Montecatini Terme and Vinci, the birth town of Leonardo. It takes its name from the typical conformation of the territory (small hills and little valleys) and from the road that leads to it.

Massimo welcomed us upon arrival and explained everything to us, pointing out local amenities, supermarkets, restaurants and places to visit, he was helpful, friendly and on hand if needed, but not intrusive. The apartment was just as described, with Read more everything we needed for a comfortable 2 week stay. The pool and sun deck area were quiet with plenty of room and opportunity for shade when needed. The surrounding views were beautiful, vineyards and hills. Convenient by car for all attractions in the area, Pisa, Florence, Lukka, Vinci and Montecatini, worth just driving around for stunning countryside views. The food in restaurants we found to be exceptional in both quality and value. We will definitely be visiting again as there is still so much to see.
