The Tenuta di Ghizzano Resort is a widespread agritourism with swimming pools located in the countryside of Ghizzano di Peccioli. Large spaces available both inside the houses and outside, completely private swimming pool and garden, immersed in the green Tuscan hills, just 30 minutes from Volterra and San Gimignano. On the border of the 3 provinces of Pisa Florence and Siena, 50 minutes of Lucca. In a few minutes you can reach the small medieval village of Ghizzano where you will find: a bar, a grocery store and a bakery. On Saturday and Sunday it is possible to eat in our panoramic restaurant "the View". Ghizzano is a small hilltop village, about 200 meters high, located on the Tuscan coast, 40 km from Livorno and 40 km south of Pisa. The cellar and the oil mill are located right around the tower built by the Venerosi Pesciolini family in 1370. We are in the area known as the Pisan Hills which includes a group of hills southeast of Pisa. None of these undulating and gentle hills exceeds 200 meters: the landscape is soft and the climate is mild because it is mitigated by the sea air, without great temperature extremes and without great risk of spring frosts. The terrain is a very interesting composite. Once the area was submerged by the sea and the land is still very rich in fossil shells. Of Pliocene origin, it has a sandy-silty-clayey texture. The Ghizzano Estate today has about 350 hectares of which 20 are vineyards, 20 are olive groves, 150 are cereal crops and 150 are woods and poplar groves. Our goal is to continue investing in a path of natural viticulture and agriculture to give the market products, limited in quantity, but of the highest quality, respecting the expressions that wine and oil can give in this area, not betraying the style, the elegance and the richness of perfumes of these gentle hills.
